A water purifier is a great way to get pure drinking water, and save money on bottled water all at the same time.
Step 1: Turn off the water
Turn off the water flow while installing to protect against accidentally spraying yourself. The shut-off valve is typically located under the sink and can be turned by hand.
Step 2: Remove the faucet aerator
Remove the faucet aerator by hand, or if it's stuck, use a wrench wrapped in a cloth, to protect the finish. The aerator is what makes sure the water exits the faucet in an even flow.
Keep the aerator (and the wire mesh and rubber washer that are inside it), in case you ever want to remove the purifier.
Step 3: Clean the faucet threads
Clean the faucet threads, or grooves, as necessary with a damp cloth, to ensure a tight fit with the purifier.
Step 4: Determine if you'll need the filter adapter
Check to see if your faucet has the threading on the inside or outside. This will determine whether you need to use an adapter, included with the purifier kit.
Step 5: Assemble the purifier

Step 6: Thread the purifier unit onto the faucet
Carefully line up the faucet's threads with the unit's threads and begin threading the two together. At the first sign of resistance, stop tightening. Excessive torque can strip the plastic threads.
Step 7: Attach the water filter bottle
Once the unit is properly attached to the faucet, continue assembling the unit by putting on the water filter bottle and any other attachments your system comes with.
Step 8: Check the water flow and tighten as necessary
Turn the water back on and check the flow of water, looking carefully for any leaks. If there are leaks, tighten one turn at a time until there are none. That's
